Divisional Round Targets and TDs Fantasy Football

The NFL postseason has completed its Wild Card round and we are onto the Divisional Round this week! I know for the most part the 2021 Fantasy Football Season is complete and we are all enjoying our recent championships! I know there are various playoff leagues/competitions and of course daily fantasy football to take us through the Super Bowl LVI. So, I am going to continue to on as well in hopes that it helps with your postseason decisions, in regard to Fantasy Football.

As we continue, I am looking at the first games of the Divisional Round starting Saturday January 22nd for the NFC teams. The matchups are: San Francisco 49ers at the Green Bay Packers and the Los Angeles Rams at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers! Remember, my favorite players usually are on teams that have a Top Offense that can produce lots of Targets and Touchdowns! Let’s review who they are below in this game and if they would be a Starter, Upside Play or Sleeper for Fantasy Football!

San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers

Starters – Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Elijah Mitchell (SF). Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Aaron Jones (GB).

Upside Plays – Brandon Aiyuk, Jimmy Garoppolo (SF). A.J. Dillon, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb (GB).

Sleepers – 49ers D/ST, Jauan Jennings, Kyle Juszczyk, Jeff Wilson Jr. (SF). Packers D/ST, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Josiah Deguara, Mercedes Lewis, Equanimeous St. Brown, Amari Rodgers (GB).

The 49ers have been finding ways to win and I certainly think the Packers could get tripped up here. The healthier that 49ers D/ST then the tougher this game will be for Aaron Rodgers and company. The matchups on offense certainly favor the Packers so I would anticipate them to be able to score points. I imagine Kittle will need to contribute more than last week if the 49ers are looking to pull off the upset. I lean slightly towards Green Bay finding a way to get it done at home, but I won’t be surprised if San Francisco wins.

Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Buccaneers

Starters – Cooper Kupp, Matthew Stafford, Cam Akers (LAR). Tom Brady, Mike Evans, Rob Gronkowski (TB).

Upside Plays – Odell Beckham Jr., Tyler Higbee, Rams D/ST, Sony Michel (LAR). Leonard Fournette, Giovani Bernard (TB).

Sleepers – Van Jefferson (LAR). Tony Johnson, Cameron Brate, Buccaneers D/ST, Ke’Shawn Vaughn, Scotty Miller, Breshad Perriman (TB).

Looking forward to this matchup as I do believe the Rams has what it takes to beat the Buccaneers this year. It’s just a matter of will crucial moments fall their way or will that Brady magic be on display to show why he has so many Super Bowl rings? I prefer the Los Angeles pass catchers to the Buccaneers D/ST, I prefer the Los Angeles D/ST to the Buccaneers pass catchers. Can either defensive line disrupt the other teams QB?! I expect Brady, Gronkowski and Evans to lead the way for Tampa Bay. While, Stafford, Kupp, Beckham Jr., Higbee, Akers, and Jefferson all play a part for Los Angeles.
