2021 Top Offenses

The fantasy football community is about to start the upcoming 2021 Fantasy Football Season! I would imagine some drafts are complete and there are probably a few more to be done before the season starts on Thursday September 9th. After looking at the 2021 Wide Receivers, 2021 Running Backs, 2021 Tight Ends and 2021 Quarterbacks recently, I want to give a quick look at the Top Offenses for the 2021 season. With everything else relatively the same, players found to be on Top Offenses more often than not score more fantasy football points for your team throughout the season. So it could be helpful on some of your close calls in your drafts or for your waiver wire pickups throughout the upcoming 2021 Fantasy Football Season.
Top Offenses – Points per Game Average – 2020
I was looking from year to year to see how many of the previous years Offenses made the Top 10 Offenses – Points Per Game Average list the next year. While also showing the offenses that just missed the cut (ranking 11-15) as well. As you follow the colors (Blue – 2015, Orange – 2016, Green – 2017, Red – 2018 and Yellow – 2019) it helps to pick out who made the Top 10 Offenses – Points Per Game Average list the following year. In 2016, 3 offenses made the Top 10 again from 2015. 2 offenses from 2016 made the Top 10 list in 2017. In 2018, 5 offenses from 2017 made the Top 10. While in 2019, 4 offenses from 2018 made the Top 10. 2020, 6 offenses from 2019 made the Top 10
Taking into account the consistency of some offenses and the possibility of others improving. I came up with my anticipated Top Offenses for 2021 below:

- Kansas City Chiefs
- Arizona Cardinals
- Los Angeles Chargers
- New Orleans Saints
- Buffalo Bills
- Seattle Seahawks
- Green Bay Packers
- New England Patriots
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Tennessee Titans
- San Francisco 49ers
- Atlanta Falcons
- Los Angeles Rams
- Minnesota Vikings
2021 Top Offenses Final Thoughts
It can be tricky predict which players will be getting Targets and Touchdowns each year. By acquiring players on the Top Offenses for your fantasy football team, I believe you give yourself an edge in being more likely to have those players that get Targets and Touchdowns on a weekly basis. It may be wise to have these team names at the ready. Also, be sure to look back at 2021 NFL Schedule, to see the teams that I believe will give up the most points as a defense this year. It may be extra beneficial for the Top Offenses from above if they play any of those defenses outlined earlier this offseason! If you believe a player is set to be in a Top Offense, then the opportunity for many Targets and Touchdowns this season could be favorable and you know I would be interested in them!
