The seventh week of the 2021 Fantasy Football Season is here! We are looking at the first game of Week 7 on Thursday October 21st between the Denver Broncos and the Cleveland Browns! Remember, my favorite players usually are on teams that have a Top Offense that can produce lots of Targets and Touchdowns! Let’s review who they are below in this game and if they would be a Starter, Upside Play or Sleeper for Fantasy Football!
Denver Broncos at Cleveland Browns
Starters – Courtland Sutton, Broncos D/ST (DEN). D’Ernest Johnson (CLE).
Upside Plays – Teddy Bridgewater, Melvin Gordon, Tim Patrick, Javonte Williams, Noah Fant (DEN). Odell Beckham Jr., Case Keenum, Jarvis Landry (CLE)
Sleepers – Kendall Hinton, Jerry Jeudy (DEN). Browns D/ST, Donovan Peoples-Jones, David Njoku, Demetric Felton (CLE).
Looks like an injury plagued, low scoring game to start Week 7. The longer the season goes the more likely we see these Thursday night games have less scoring. The interesting piece to this game is that the starting QB and RB’s for Cleveland are not going to play. So who does the backup QB (Case Keenum) trust? In these moments it’s not uncommon to see a lower depth chart RB, WR or TE have a better game than expected because of that rapport that has been established with backups during the season practices amongst backups. Obviously if they play, Cleveland will still try to get Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry going. It looks like the Broncos are in a good spot to go in and win, even if most home teams are favored on the Thursday night games. Certainly a game to keep current with the latest injury news up until kickoff as there are plenty of moving parts. Should be an interesting game to get the week started!
Keep an eye on my Rankings as you have decisions to make for this weekends games as well! Good luck!
